In Re: MOVEit Customer Data Security Breach Litigation

Numerous class action lawsuits have been consolidated as In Re: MOVEit Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, MDL No. 3083, 1:23-md-03083-ADB, pending in United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

The litigation involves allegations that the file transfer software, MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Cloud file transfer services, suffered vulnerabilities that were exploited in May 2023. It is estimated that Personally Identifying Information (“PII”) and/or Personal Health Information (“PHI”) of over 55 million people was exposed by the breach.

The litigation is ongoing, and the attorneys appointed by the Court to lead these cases on behalf of the Plaintiffs (people and businesses affected by the breach) will provide updates here.
